When a fridge or freezer stops holding temperature, food is at risk, so it helps to find the cause quickly. Many faults involve thermostats, fans, sensors, defrost systems, door seals or electronic controls. Where diagnosis shows the sealed system has lost refrigerant and the appliance is suitable, regassing may be an option – but not every cooling fault is a gas fault, so we always diagnose first.
Common symptoms and faults

How diagnosis and repair work
The engineer inspects and tests the appliance to find the cause and explains it to you. If the fault is fixed during the first visit without parts or extra chargeable work, you pay only the agreed call-out / diagnostic fee. If parts or more labour are needed, we explain the cost and ask for your approval before going ahead. Photos you send help us prepare, but the fault is only confirmed on site.
