What's a starting price, what's indicative, and what's quoted after we've seen the appliance. All prices in pounds sterling (£).
Call-out and diagnosis
Covers the visit and an assessment of the fault. The fee for your job is confirmed before your booking is approved: location, access and the type of appliance can affect it. If the fault is fixed on the first visit without parts or extra chargeable work, you pay only the agreed fee.
Call-out and diagnosis – integrated appliances and American-style fridge freezers
For integrated (built-in) appliances and American-style fridge freezers, which take longer to reach and test. Covers the visit and an assessment of the fault. If the fault is fixed on the first visit without parts or extra chargeable work, you pay only this fee.
Fridge or freezer regassing
In addition to the call-out and diagnostic fee, so about £180 to £200 in total before any travel charge or other necessary work. Only carried out where diagnosis shows regassing is the right repair and the appliance is suitable – not every cooling fault is a gas fault. Refrigerant work is done by an F-gas trained engineer.
Parts and additional repair work
Charged separately where required. You get a quote and nothing extra is done or charged without your approval.
How charges work
Call-out and diagnostic fees from £80. Parts and any additional labour are charged separately where required. Your applicable fee and any additional costs will be confirmed before you proceed.
Starting price
£80 is where call-out and diagnostic fees start. It isn't a fixed fee for every location, appliance or fault: we confirm your fee before we approve your booking, and you pay it only after approval.
First visit
If the fault is fixed during the first visit without parts or extra chargeable work, you pay only the agreed call-out / diagnostic fee. If parts or more labour are needed, we explain the cost and ask for your approval before going ahead.
Indicative
A realistic guide based on typical jobs. We confirm the actual price before doing the work.
Subject to inspection
We can only price it once we've diagnosed the fault. You get a quote and decide whether to go ahead.
Travel
We cover Crewe and surrounding areas across Cheshire. Travel charges may vary depending on your location. We will confirm any applicable travel charge before your appointment is finalised.
Things that can affect the price
Integrated appliances, American-style fridge-freezers, difficult access, the way an appliance is installed and travel distance can affect the price. We won't add any extra charge without explaining it and getting your agreement first.
Paying
Once your booking is approved, you pay the confirmed fee by card on Stripe's secure payment page. We never see or store your card details and don't add a card surcharge.
